I want you take a look at these verses:
14 For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; 15 and he died for all,that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.
16 From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.[a] The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation;
Did you get that?! We are redeemed so now as a result of of being redeemed we have an obligation. We have been reconciled so now we have the ministry of showing what reconciliation looks like through the power of Jesus Christ!
Today we remember the sacrifice but we need to do more than just remember we need to be active in being ministers of reconciliation. We need to be vocal in our faith! We need more than ever to stand firm in the Faith. We are no longer to live for ourselves, but rather we are to live for Christ who died for our sake and was raised!
I know it's Friday, but Sunday is on the way!
