We are so busy in this part of the world trying to remain comfortable that I think alot of the time we lose out on some stuff that God has for us.
Take a look at this:
Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. Matt 10:39
We settle so often for scraps when we should be dinning with the King. Jesus has gold nuggets of truth that He is wanting to impart to us, but because either we're lazy or we just don't care, we are missing out on truths and blessings that could literally transform our lives.
So often the truths that God has for us come in disguise and because they aren't just handed over to us we get frustrated and distracted.
We really need to stop allowing the comforts of this life dictate to us how we serve God. We should be willing to drop anything if and when God puts His finger on that part of your life.
When we start to place our lives in the wake of Jesus' loving care we are going to find that giving up something really is not that big of a deal. IF we could see how God wants to mold and shape us towards His image we'd be way more willing to let go of this world and embrace HIM!
Jesus is more than enough!
