We Are Focused On The Wrong Thing...

So over the last couple of  days everyone is freaking out over Starbucks not putting a  Christmas message on their cups.  This really is what people are freaking out about.   Imagine that.  A liberal company is acting like a liberal company.  *Slaps forehead*

Why is this even an issue. Because our focus is not on what it should be on.  The battle is not with a coffee cup.  The battle lies in spiritual realms.  We ignore that fight and focus on a cup.  EXACTLY what the devil wants us to do.  He knows if he can get us focused on a fight that seems legitimate  that we'll ignore the fight that really needs to be addressed.  Make no mistake that is exactly where we are.  We are so focused on battles like this we ignore the serious things in our culture.

So check this little jewel out from the IMF, that no one is really talking about:  Next financial crash is coming – and before we've fixed flaws from last one.

 No on is throwing that message all over facebook and demanding that we stand up and take notice and prepare.  No, we are yelling over a stupid red cup.   Things are different.  Something major is about to happen....and we don't know what it is, but the best thing to do is always have our house in order.

Where do we start?  We need to have our spiritual house in order.  We need to know who our hope is really in.  Our foundations needs to be solid!  Our focused need to be laser like.  We need to look to the one (JESUS) who is the author and perfecter of our faith (Heb 12:2).  Don't let the devil trick you into actually looking at something else when all we need to be focused on is Jesus!  Wage war on your sin and the enemy today rather than superficial things that really don't matter.
