What Is Your Hope In?

Let your steadfast love, O LORD, be upon us, even as we hope in you. - Psalm 33:22

What are you putting your hope in?
Money?
Job?
Relationship?
Social status?

Have you noticed that all of those things I've mentioned above never bring lasting hope or satisfaction?   You get money...and you're happy for a moment...but then you realize that you need more of it to maintain that 'happy' and if don't get then your not happy.  You see none of the things I've mentioned were ever meant to bring lasting satisfaction. Only Jesus Christ can bring that lasting hope.

Today if you're looking for anything other than Jesus to bring you hope, you're going to fall short.

Take time today and ask God to fill that gap...repent where you need to repent and press into HIM and let the rest of this stuff fall by the wayside.

You'll sleep better this way.
