I posted a quote from a sermon I did a few weeks back and the quote was this:
‘Transforming a man’s heart…changes the destiny of a family.’
Men set the tone in their homes. They bring about shalom (peace) or they bring about disorder.
Adam (our great, great, great….grandfather) chose a path of disobedience and it set tone for the rest of humanity: Pain, depression, anxiety, hurt, humiliation, sin and death.

But, God did not just leave it that way. He provided a way to escape! ( 1 Cor. 10:13 )
He provided a redeemer, a rescuer, and a hope! His name is JESUS!
So the question is not is there a way to change this life?
The question is: What direction are you going to go?
As Joshua 24:15 says: ‘…choose this day whom you will serve…’

Are you going to serve and follow your sin nature and yourself or are you going to follow and serve JESUS?
This choice will determine a lot in your life.
This choice changes everything. If you follow yourself and your sinful desires this will cause an impact on your family that will be devastating and bring nothing but hurt, pain and misery in the long run.
BUT…if you follow and serve Jesus your life will be transformed and as a result your family will be impacted with a greater purpose and calling.

Don’t waste your time on the stuff that will bring you down.
