I sought for the greatness and genius of America in her commodious harbors and her ample rivers – and it was not there . . . in her fertile fields and boundless forests and it was not there . . . in her rich mines and her vast world commerc – and it was not there . . . in her democratic Congress and her matchless Constitution – and it was not there. Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits flame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power. America is great because she is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, she will cease to be great.
The Churches in America need to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ! They need to be declaring repentance. They need to return to a Biblical foundation…upon which we derive our authority from the pages of scripture and not from our personal experiences. We need to be willing to call sin, sin and declare we need to turn from said sin to a loving Father. Only when this is done will our country return to greatness…without doing that we will implode! We must act in and on the rule of love based in the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
This verse is applicable to us:

The call is to GOD’S people to repent and return to HIM. If the church does not love and follow Jesus, why would the rest of the world do it?
We have to come back to our first love.
